What makes Kearney such an exciting place to work, says Abby Klanecky, the firm’s chief marketing officer and chief client services officer, is an environment where the best ideas win.

“We’re a firm defined by making things happen for our clients,” Abby says. “When good ideas are always flowing, that creates momentum. There are so many ideas flowing here. And the instinct is not to stop them, but to see how we can make them more compelling.”

Abby oversees Kearney’s knowledge management, research, information technology, digital, and social media teams, along with its global marketing function, internal and external communications, content, creative services, design, and events. She has broken new ground to bring some of the firm’s strongest ideas to the forefront with one-of-a-kind events, compelling thought leadership, sophisticated content campaigns, and fresh approaches to talent recruitment. These include America@250—a research-based CEO-level dialogue hosted by Kearney in partnership with The Wall Street Journal that brought together more than 100 CEOs, government, and thought leaders for a dialogue on the future of the United States.

For Abby, these projects highlight Kearney’s collaborative nature as well as its ability and commitment to making an immediate impact for both the firm and its clients.

“The commitment to creating outcomes permeates the culture,” Abby says. “For me there’s an implication that when you work with Kearney you’re going to get the outcome promised.”

Abby was named the chair of Kearney’s Global Inclusion Council in 2023. She has been instrumental in leading a renewed emphasis on inclusion, gender equity, and mental health.

Abby also sits on the advisory board of the Miami University Farmer School of Business.
